Positive Experience Review

We are a boutique home breeder of lovely pugs who are all members of our family. We gladly jump through many hoops to be a part of Purebred Breeders, because they find wonderful forever homes for the very few puppies we breed. I notice the atrocious spelling in some of these negative posts. Some people are just determined to find the negative in all life experiences.

What does spelling have to do with any review, dummy?! The company you so proudly defend will be defending itself once again in a court of law after the U.S.

Humane Society's case against Purebred Breeders was reinstated as of August 2014. They will be jumping through hoops as well! Did they pay you to write your review? *** question, of course they did!

"Boutique" aka "Puppy Mill"?

Any breeder worth their own salt would have NOTHING to do with that company!

Feel free to check my spelling!

They were clean and professional

From when I first went on the website to when I received my puppy, everything was handled professionally and I felt safe dealing with them. There are so many scams out there, I was very leary. But in talking to them and researching their website and internet information, I felt I was in safe hands. Everyone I talked to gave me all the answers and we were in constant contact. The gave me all the information on shipping my puppy to me and how and when and who. The gave me all the information on my Maltese pup. And when I held her in my arms, I knew she was safe and we had completed our family. I would definitely recommend Purebred Breeders.

well I have to say either you work for purebred breeders or this is a paid lie ,,, I got the shaft from them and they knew dam well what they are doing ask their lawyers in Miami even if they sell you a dieing dog their response is well replace it like a pair of old shoes they don't know who or where there dogs come from and lie to you and tell you they do ,, they profit from the suffering of animals and are protected by the lemon law wich states you are only entitled to purchase refund so like me if you pay 6,000 to save the dogs life by law they only have to give you 1,000 you paid for the dog in my case my pup had parvo and to see that poor little girl suffer terribly and my little daughter cry asking if her puppy was going to die WHATS THAT WORTH

Purebred Breeders does not deliver

I ordered an 8 week old German shepherd puppy on a Saturday and was told it had its shots, had been checked, it's parents were clear of hip dysplasia and other genetic issues and that I'd have the puppy on Tuesday. On Monday, I was called and informed it was just getting it's shots and would not be delivered until Thursday. Wednesday, I was called and told it had worms and could not be delivered until the following Monday. I was even sent the flight schedule and instructions for picking it up. Sunday, I was contacted and told Tuesday would be the earliest it could arrive. (At this point, had rearranged my schedule three days.) When I said I no longer had confidence this was a healthy puppy, it certainly was no longer an 8 week puppy, felt my verbal contract had not been honored and wanted my money refunded, was told there would be a "processing fee" !!!! For WHAT?

Breeders are disgusting and unethical anyway. As someone else stated, GO TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER AND SAVE A LIFE!!!

Guest

So you are mad because they wanted to make sure you were not getting a sick dog?

No, but am mad that 1. they are selling a sick dog and 2.

lied about the condition and readiness of the puppy.

Everyone made it so easy and I was not too stressed out, well not completely; our girl is home. The work just begins. Purebred Breeders have a great team. I am truly thankful and very happy for this beautiful dog. I will recommend their site to any one that asks! My story is very fun and it took my daughter and me a year to make this happen. The young man that helped us was kind and understanding around all the questions. Everyone there made sure my needs were met. I can't tell you how much this means to me!

Refused to allow me to see the puppy

I was willing to purchase a puppy but was told I could not see it first. I was willing to drive 300 miles to see the puppy but they stated no way, impossible, no exceptions. I asked if they could contact the breeder and see if it was okay for me to see the puppy and they refused to contact the breeder - no way, impossible. I was told to pay $2095 upfront then I could go pick up the puppy or pay $297 to have it shipped to me. I feel sorry for the breeder and puppy as I would have given this puppy of loving home.

The reason they will not let you go see the puppy in person is because they are like an escrow company, they make almost 1/2 of what the price of the dogs sale for and if you meet the owners you will find this out and they surely don't want that because they will not make their money.

Guest

Don't feel sorry for the breeder...the breeder is clearly a puppy mill! Do a little research on the deplorable conditions in which these poor dogs are subject to.

Any reputable breeder will interview you before the will even consider allowing you to purchase one of their dogs!

Never purchase a pure breed puppy from anyone besides the breeder directly! There are tons of perfect purebred & "designer breed" dogs at animal shelters around the country...consider adopting one of these dogs instead!

Terrible business !!!!!

Purchased dog on the 2nd of this month and then was informed by representative on the 6th in the evening there were no availabilities due to heat for the transportation on any available airlines with air conditioning on that delivery date and the route of delivery would have to be changed to a later date, so I canceled order. Then was contacted by them to keep them from losing the purchase they would reimburse me for my inconvenience to which in all actuality was their neglect to make the sale without proper information to the consumer to have to drive two and half hours out of my way to another airport to pick up the animal after which was agreed upon. I called them back after getting the flight itinerary to cancel because the dog had three layovers before arriving to the destination that we agreed on with the wrong confirmation number and was dissatisfied with the lack of consideration of the animal's safety and health. and in return they charged me the fee.

Most professional company!

We had a wonderful experience with Purebred Breeders! I can't single out any particular employee, as EVERYONE we spoke to was extremely enthusiastic, polite, and knowledgeable. Seriously, I'm sure their names are in our records, but they all should get raises! They have one of the best data systems I've ever seen as all of our information and call records were there at their fingertips. Our puppy arrived just as scheduled (again, excellently arranged) and he is beyond adorable--we're in love! I am so happy I found the people at Purebred Breeders. I would not hesitate to recommend this extremely professional company to anyone!

Can not trust them.

When I called about a dog I was encouraged to put down a deposit. I put down a $500 deposit after ED told me I could get a refund in 48 hours or so. I called in 48 hers and was told to read my contract, that the 24 hour deadline had passed and there was no refund. I subsequently received a call from the breeder asking why I cancelled. In the course of the conversation I was told the cost of the puppy was $850. Purebred had increased the price by $1000 to $1850.00. Nice company. Do your research. Read about the lawsuit against them joined by the US Humane Society.

Lies

Lies, lies, and more lies. These people are thieves. They don't care about animals; all they want is your money. Buyer Beware. Breeder location - lie. Flight details - lie. Inconsiderate? You bet they are. Salespeople fighting for a commission. Now they want you to pay a monthly fee of $5.99 to make my review "premium". And, my review must be at least 100 words (I'm sure there's a reason for that, and I'm sure it involves money) So, to reach my 100 word limit, here goes: liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars, liars.

Unhealthy puppy

We purchased a shih Tzu from this company and were guaranteed a healthy one at a hefty price. Although we got a vet health clearance from the breeder, we took our puppy immediately to our trusted vet. We had noticed he was scratching his ears and one leg. Well, we did not get a healthy puppy. He had scabies, ear mites, fleas and an intestinal parasite. He also has a deformed ear and extra long tongue that does not fit in his mouth. All this for $2200. They offered us $74 back for the price of the medicine but stopped returning my calls when I told them to come pick up the puppy and return my check. It took us two months to get this puppy healthy. We also had to have our house sanitized since the intestinal parasite and ear mites were contagious. I do not recommend this company and from my experience believe I dealt with a puppy mill.

The cost of the puppy should have told you right there and then it was a puppy mill. You can get a purebred for around only 500 bucks. But you can go to a kill shelter save a life and get a fully vetted puppy for 100 bucks.Sometimes when you spend more it does not mean you get more.Next time save a life adopt.

Very Efficient Company

When I first saw a picture of my puppy on this website, I fell in love. I was skeptical about buying a dog online. Would it be him? Would they send another one? As soon as I talked to Purebred Breeders, I felt safe in hands of professionals. Once I received my dog, I was more than convinced he came from a great breeder, due to his personality and coat, I just knew he was being well taken care of. And of course, I do not regret falling in love with him, the first time I saw him on the website. Its been a dream come true ever since!

Professional process

We were totally in the dark as to how to get an Akita puppy. There are numerous web sites advertising dogs for sale and you really can't tell how honest they are. Just one half hour interview with Mike had us convinced that Purebred Breeders are the ones to deal with. We knew exactly what puppy we were getting, a detailed procedure on the process, a complete rundown on what to expect from shipping puppy to ownership. Everything was professionally handled from the initial contact with Mike all the way to receiving our new puppy at Sea-Tac airport. Purebred Breeders does not stop there. They continue to follow up with us on various registration sites, vet care and how our new puppy is doing.

Puppy has ortho problem, required surgery, company will not pay all surgery costs...

They have agreed to provide reimbursement for the full cost of surgery, as I requested.

My dog is recovering, and now I can afford to pay for his physical therapy. My...

Purebred website states on the website "Guarantee" that •We do not believe your puppy is replaceable but we do believe that sometimes the pain can be lessened in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of a puppy within one year from its birth due to genetics, or if the puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within one year) which adversely affects the health of your puppy, we will replace the pet with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian.
--- The total cost of x-ray, exam, and surgery was $1200. The dog cost $1995. Purebred states it will only reimburse for the "surgery" part of the bill, approx. $900.

I have asked Purebred to pay the entire cost of the surgery-- yes, they needed to take an x-ray to determine why my dog could not walk... NOW, Purebred states they will send me a new dog of the same value, AFTER I send my dog back to them.

Can't they just pay the total cost of the surgery at $1200 ? I could have taken my dog to an expensive orthopedic surgeon. Then the cost would have been $2300 for the surgery.

All I want is the full cost of the surgery at $1200. But now they are "pretending" they will actually send me a new dog of the same "value"? I want to know what would they do with my crippled 11 month old neutered male? How can they provide assurance the "new" puppy won't be a cripple too?

Puppy plagued with issues - only 11 months old!

STAY AWAY FROM PUREBRED BREEDERS - our French Bulldog puppy has been plagued with health issues from Demodetic Mange, Seizures, a tumour and cherry eye and he is only 11 months old! As a company that touts having the best breeders in their network they don't stand behind this claim whatsoever. We have spent over $4600 on emergency vet and vet bills in 9 months and will continue to pay for seizure medication and treatment for his skin condition. Not to mention the poor suffering our puppy has been forced through for the last 6 months due to poor breeding practices. His sister (with another family) has also been plagued by demodetic mange and digestive issues. Purebred breeders still continues to ignore the importance of these issues, even after 4 months of deliberation and communication! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Search PureBred Breeders on Youtube and watch the movies of other suffering puppies!
